Sir, I read with interest the article by Professor P. 1. Lamey in Dental Update on Burning Mouth Syndrome¹ and wondered if it may have been relevant to include horm onal imbalance as an unusual, but possible, aetiological factor for Burning Mouth Syndrome (BMS)?—particularly when all other causes have been ruled out.
