Abstract

The advances in dental ceramic materials and systems continue to be related to improvements in strength, fitting accuracy and aimed towards avoidance of the use of metal substructures both in posterior and anterior teeth. Many of the changes seen within the last few years have been associated with modifications to, and improvements of, existing techniques. These are considered in this paper, and ceramic post systems are also reviewed.
