Abstract: In a recently published, well-written review paper by Kakroudi et al the clinical safety of articaine (hydrochloride) pertaining to the claims that it is particularly neurotoxic (ie causing paraesthesia or, more correctly, hypoaesthesia) has been briefly discussed.1
