Introduction:  'I learnt about Dentistry from that'

Feedback:  0 comments, 0 ratings

Abstract: The concept of an open reporting culture in dentistry was first discussed in Dental Update by Captain Steve Hawkins in a publication in November 20171 and followed up in an editorial2 in January of this year. In that, readers were invited to give their views on whether they would support a one-page feature in Dental Update in which readers would share near misses in which a disaster affecting a tooth/teeth and patient was narrowly avoided or, when something went wrong, nearly went wrong, or equally valuably, when something went very right.

Receive 1 hour free CPD from Dental Update when you register with this webinar

During this webinar Eoin O’Sullivan will take you through his personal journey with digital scanning, explaining how he found himself in a dilemma when he had to replace his first iTero, after he had assumed that the scanner’s capabilities would transition to focus on orthodontics when it was bought out by Align Technology in March 2011. He will share his thoughts about which scanner would best suit his restorative practice, and why he opted for the next generation of iTero over all the other scanners on the market.
